ADA Ramp

A temporary accessibility ramp comissioned by Storefront for Art and Architecture is designed through a series of institutional exchanges:

IAA, CUP, SFAA, ADA.

In the design of the ramp a resolution is sought that accounts for the respective forces that come to play given each organization's interests. Applying the ADA to architecture (such as the Storefront for Art & Architecture) demonstrates the rigid structures in which decisions about code and ADA get made (even in non-governmental institutions such as IAA, CUP and SFAA).
